Just popping on here to sprinkle this blog with some attention with funny things I don't want to forget.

So Kayla my fantastic 3 year old niece rocks my world. She pronounces strawberry as frawbebby, bandaid is bambaid, and ice cream is hah fream. She's totally me as a kid with a rampant imagination, one second we're princesses, the next Dora characters, the next snails, the next birds, such fun. The other day we were making pretend strawberry pancakes and I was like "Wow these are gonna be good" and she replied "MmmHmm I know girl"... I nearly peed myself. I don't think she meant it to come out as a sassy woman, b/c she always says "Okay now you be the girl and I be the lady/mommy" when we're playing pretend but just the way it came out was so fantastic.

In other news, after a fantastic day with Teresa where we indulged in her homemade nachos and salsa, and hummus with cilantro (YUM) and watched Harry Potter 1 and 2, then ate another lovely meal prepared by my Italian contessa of cheesy spinach pesto over farfalle, I come home and am chatting with Roey outside and showing her how Teresa's bf let me borrow the 1st 3 seasons of "How I Met Your Mother" on DVD and I promised him they'd be in good hands I then proceed to go into the house, oblivious to the SHUT screen door and walk RIGHT thru it, bust it entirely and bounce off and drop 2 of the DVD cases. Yup I'm a giant awkward Amelia Bedelia.

Exciting weekend ahead, seeing Andy and Jaci tomorrow then heading to Albany to see Mare and Colin, then off to Saratoga Saturday for Tooker and Hannah's 4th of July party, frolicking with Mare Sunday, then Monday I'm not sure where I'm gonna stay, if Crissy is around maybe I can visit with her which is much needed and spend the night so I can then hop over to Framingham State College in MA on Tuesday for my day long interview for a Residence Director position!!!!! I phone interviewed with them Monday and they emailed me Wednesday to invite me, now that's the kind of turn around this girl likes! Fingers crossed!!

Oh and finally, I created a Tumblr account, I had no idea such a thing existed until I stumbled across a link in Megan Cleary's blog and was perusing thru pics and obsessing over how similar this person was to Megan and I only to realize it was Megan's tumblr hahaha. Basically it's my life thru pictures and quotes, things that inspire me, move me, make me laugh, tell my life, etc. It's my new obsession, I update it constantly... you should follow me on it!
