So I just learned from the news that our president (of UConn, clearly not of the country) was offered a $100,000 performance raise by the Board of Trustees and turned it down stating that given the state of the economy, and how UConn is struggling with budget cuts, etc. he definitely does not need nor would accept that and requested they give the money to the graduate school. If only the leaders of this country along with millions of other people had that mentality... the world would be a much better place.

In lighter new, Grey's was super disappointing and cheesy, uber let down. Thanks to aim The Office was ruined for me, I don't understand why people feel the need to put stuff like that in their away message or on facebook. Not everyone sees things right away!

Additionally, thanks to the horrible rain that's expected I won't be driving home to see my family which sucks, but hopefully round 2 at Sneaker's for Drew's B-Day won't disappoint.

Crissy is leaving me for the weekend, good thing I have stuff to occupy me alot of the time, I don't like being alone for extended periods of time.

ummm yea I'm sure there's more I wanted to write when I opened this blog but my brain and body have started to shut down so it's escaped me.

oh... ps I kinda sorta have a silly little crush that I've been suppressing, which Crissy picked up on and jumped all over today.... doubtful anything will come of it b/c that's my life but it's entertaining and a fun distraction for now. Not too invested in it emotionally as that will likely only lead to disappointment.
