C is for cookie... please no more for me!

My life the past few days has involved endless amounts of baking (and far too much sampling), lots of sister time (sidenote: if you ever want a good laugh, just pop on QVC or HSN with someone and its hours of entertainment and mocking at the expense of the ridiculous people selling crap and the even poorer saps who buy it), and more family time. While visiting with my grandma she blew me away when she just started rattling off "Twas the Night Before Christmas". The woman still knows EVERY SINGLE word without skipping a beat, it's truly amazing. I also went to a Christmas play at Fuzz's school, it was a good mix of Jesus and Christmas tunes so I wasn't too uncomfortable, plus they all looked so freaking cute. Here's a pic of the lil' ladies man wooing everyone with his smile on stage:

In other news...
My name is Christine Noonan and I'm a movie buyeraholic. Seriously, in the past 2 weeks I've binged on so many movies, but I can't resist when they're so cheap with all these sales everywhere. Speaking of movies, I will never understand the movie industry. For MONTHS there have been relatively no movies worth seeing and now all of a sudden all these great movies are coming out at once and will all be competing against each other. It doesn't make sense to me, why not span them out so they all could live up to their potential? What movies do I speak of you ask?

1. Yes Man - My sister and I just went to see this today and I was very impressed. Bradley Cooper and Zooey Deschanel costarred in this Jim Carrey comedy, and that made me really happy b/c they're both super talented, attractive, young and up and coming stars who I believe have great potential. The movie was a romantic comedy for all audiences as it had inspirational stuff, schmoopy stuff, "action", and outrageous comedy. It got me thinking about how I want to live my life, and ultimately I think I'd want to end up at SUNY New Paltz, b/c the quality of living in that area is just phenomenal. There is so much to do and see and take-in and a great community to be a part of. Plus it's "upstate" but not too far from LI and the city where I have alot of family and friends. The ideal plan would be to recruit my sister and Brian as well, seeing as she has a strong affinity to that area since it's her alma mater. This obviously won't happen overnight but before I'm 30 is the goal.

2. Revolutionary Road

3. Milk

4. Seven Pounds

5. Bedtime Stories

6. Four Christmases

... and in February: He's Just Not That Into You

...and this spring, Adventureland is coming out, which I could not be more excited for. It's made by the director of Superbad, who's a Long Island native and he wrote it about our "famed" amusement park that I basically grew up at which is just so absurd to me that now millions will go see a movie based off this place.
