I haven't blogged in a while, my apologies to my loyal readers haha
hmmm Let's see, I have a phone interview with Wheelock College in Boston for an advising job this Wednesday, I graduate in 18 days, lose my apt. and roomie in ~40 days.... Yeaa that's my life in a nutshell and most of what I think about. I have 1 presentation, 1 project, and a conversation with a professor standing between me and the end of academia, HOLY BALLS that's craziness
Easter weekend I went home with Mary. Saturday Colin's sister Erin, myself, and Mary did a 4 mi run. It was really cold so that hurt my lungs, but fun none the less. Me being the giant awkward being that I am got confused as to where the finish line was, assumed the caution tape b/w 2 poles was their ghetto simulation of it, ran thru it and had the wind push it just perfectly to choke me, almost fell, got back to my feet as all the onlookers attempted to cheer me on, and then stopped as I assumed that was the end. WRONG. That was totally not the finish line, so not only did I just screw up my end time, but I made a huge fool of myself, typical haha. Mary and Erin were waiting and directing me, whilst holding back laughter (they're better people than I, I would have been on the ground laughing). Here's a pic:
Afterward we had lunch with Mary's mom, then went to a bbq at our friend's Don and Jamie's. I failed terribly at pong with my partner, who was a very interesting fellow who is currently traveling the nation impersonating Johnny Cash and performing in shows. Here's a pic of Mary and I at the partayyy:
Sunday we had a delicious brunch with Colin's family, (which included Overnight French Toast which is orgasmic), then head over to Mary's sisters for a bit, followed by her 2nd family's house, at which point I laid the smack down on her friend's girlfriend who insisted on calling me Christina b/c she preferred it and didn't see how her calling me Christina was any different from people calling her D or Debbie (her name is Deborah). B/C those are common nickhames for Deborah you dingbat, Christina is a completely different nameee. Ahh I get agitated just thinking about that whacky lady haha. Here's some pics from Neasta:

Last week I lost my new glasses which totally blew and put a damper on the rest of the week. Thankfully, life at ACES has finally slowed down, which is glorious. I get to relax, talk to my coworkers, etc.
Friday was Relay for Life, very fun but I walked tooo much and killed my bad ankle. Here's a pic of Rita, Mary, and I:
Saturday I could barely move, fell to the ground when I got out of bed, and sat for most of the schmoozing I had to do at Open House. Afterward Mary, Crissy, and I had a fabulous ladies night, we ordered in delicious eggplant pizza, Crissy made chocolate banana pudding parfaits, and they took my "Mean Girls" virginity. Here's a pic of us lovely ladies:
Sunday I went on a mega shopping spree for spring clothes and new glasses, it was an expensive but productive day.
This weekend I'm heading to Oneonta for OH Fest and cannot wait! Friday afternoon I'm having lunch with my old supervisor Linda Drake, then having a slumber party with Dan and Amanda. Saturday will be OH Fest shenanigans and lots of running around to see all my fav alum who will be in town, as well as those who still attend the mecca that is Oneonta. Sunday I'm heading to Cuse' to see Ben Folds and Guster with Ms. Bunker whooooooot!

The image of you running to the wrong finish line is kind of amusing. Sorry! Glad Mary and company are such good people and flagged you down! LOL!
