So tonight when I got home from a lovely dinner with Hoween
in which I treated myself to a delightful Pumpkintini
there was a sweet chair that someone left in the lobby for someone to pick up as their new treasure. It has a sorta paisley print to it and I absolutely adore it so clearly I jumped on this opportunity. So OBVIOUSLY being the sketchtastic place my building has become this skanky woman appears and is holding the elevator for me as I try to jam the chair in and she's all downtrodden b/c apparently she had her eyes on it, so in our 3 flight adventure I come to find that a few months back while she was in jail for a DUI (yea... let's talk about oversharing with a complete stranger you've known for approximately 1 elevator flight) her husband found this sweet red chair in the lobby..... THIS WAS MY CHAIR THAT I DUMPED OFF WHEN RITA MOVED OUT! How crazy alcoholic woman who was going to try to snag this new chair which I beat her too is also the owner of the funky red chair I abandoned (which I also found in our lobby a ways back).
Ridiculous.
I hope Crissy likes it, if not I'm squeezing it in my room. I'm sure you're prob reading this from Norwalk my lil' Wizard so here's a pic. Let me know and I'll drag it upstairs if you find it hideous haha:
In other news, the beautiful football player boy and I are now facebook friends (our connection is getting so much more official). His profile is full of Jesus quotes which is new for me, as most of my friends are either atheist, agnostic (like me), apathetic, or just choose not to acknowledge their faith so much on a public forum... I'm intrigued none the less, the passages he picked are rather moving and powerful...
ps Never give up
You can thank Lisa Rudolph for that video haha
