Genuinely happy

I feel genuinely happy right now about life in general, I don't often feel this way or at least spend enough time in my own head to recognize when I am

Today was a good day, highlights were volunteering at the Off Campus Housing Fair where Mary and I worked as greeters which was a TON of fun, I freaking love being a greeter man, first impressions are so important and I love being that person, that first face people see, it allows me to scatter joy as Teresa might say hehe. Here's a pic of Mary and I:

While working at the fair my friend Zimmy almost convinced me to go to Bangkok with him and Diep over spring break, they spontaneously decided to go there and I'm so envious. That is one thing I definitely want to change about myself, how not traveled I am. I've never even been to Canada, it's pathetic. However, if I'm going to go anywhere my first stop has to be Ireland and Scotland with Roey as we've been talking about this Eurotrip for years so I'm thinking she'd be pretty pissed if I went to Bangkok on a whim instead haha, plus $1,000 plane ticket is not exactly rational for someone who doesn't know if they'll be employed when paychecks stop coming in May.

After the fair, Crissy, me, Kenny, Diep, Pepin, and Chelsea went out to dinner at Pho Boston a great Vietnamese restaurant I've been to a few times. I had a delicious dinner consisting of veggie spring rolls w/ peanut sauce that Crissy and I shared, and veggie tofu chow fun, with a taro pearl drink! YUMTASTIC! When I came home The Office was a repeat which was a slight disappointment until I realized it was my fav episode of the season thus far, where they find out Meredith was sleeping with one of their buyers for steak dinners, and Jim is constantly timing Dwight to see how much time he wastes at work. Best quote of the show is from Meredith:
"I wouldn't have done it if it wasn't for the paper. There's not a lot of fruit in those looms"

I'm pretty excited about this weekend, tomorrow Sully, a friend in my program who's a wicked introvert and rarely socializes is hosting a "100 days till graduation" party... a party hosted by Sully is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I wouldn't miss it for the world. Saturday we're going out for Hoween's birthday, then hopefully hitting up this fun gay bar after with Kenny, Diep, and whoever else comes out. Mary and I are having a slumber party after and having brunch with our friend Margo and her partner, then later that night I'm going to a superbowl party at my friend Will's (SINCE WHEN DID I BECOME SUCH A CONNECTICUT SOCIALITE? This sounds more like the kind of jampacked weekend I'd have in Oneonta!) haha

I'll leave you with some fun news I found today such as:

a sledding cat
