OCHO

I have applied to 8 jobs, am 8 days away from being in Florida, & have 80 days until graduation. WHOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOO I have never loved the ocho as much as I do now.

In other news, slumber party w/ Rita was lovely. She cooked me stirfry, a sweet potato, & cornbread, we played with Pacino, watched "Jarhead" (Jake Gylenhaal's body is truly beautiful yumm haha), then snuggled up for the night w/ Pacinoooo. I woke up this morning to him licking my face. Pacino puppy wake-up kisses are almost as good as Kayla pretend puppy kisses in the morning. Here's some pics:



Earlier today I had two back to back awful meetings with students. The first was with my student who hates UConn, everything it stands for, & everyone who works for it (I now can better empathize with her as she does seem to have this bad luck cloud hanging over her head ever since she transferred here, perhaps it's karma paying her back for being so awful to everyone she met upon arriving), then I met with a student who just came on to my caseload a few days ago as she was a walk-in transfer with junior credit standing who is now "exploratory". She was erratic, aggressive, and also cried. By the end of the two meetings I had a stabbing pain in my eyebrow that wouldn't quit. GOOD TIMES.

Tomorrow I'm taking another Zumba class which is always a great way to end the day haha.
