What goes up must come down

Ups of the day:
-Applying for my first big girl job as an EOP academic counselor at Stonybrook

Downs of the day:
-The putz eye doctor I saw the other day calling and informing me he was extremely mistaken in dismissing my "cysts" and trying to talk me out of having them removed and that unfortunately Dr. Rogers the head surgeon was more than right in pushing to have it removed because the biopsy of the "cyst" came back and it is not a cyst. The ones I've had removed in the past weren't either. They're basal cell carcinomas (skin cancers) and I have many more and need to seek immediate treatment. What does this mean? Not too sure yet, other than this is one of my greatest fears associated with my syndrome. My skin cancer doesn't spread to organs unless it goes unnoticed for years, however it does spread across and destroy skin. Soooo on an area such as the eye which doesn't have much skin, if these cancers have begun to spread it could mean very scary things for my eyes and appearance. So I cried for a while, then worked out and cleaned the whole apartment to distract myself and calm down.

I'll hopefully know more tomorrow when my dermatologist's nurse calls me back. I had the eye doctors fax over the reports and stuff.

Anyone want to change genes and bodies with me? I'm about done with mine.

ps Researching online on your own can be great but can also be terrifying. The first website I went to said:
When basal cell carcinomas grow near the eye, mouth, bone, or brain, the consequences of invasion can be serious and can lead to death. Yet, for most people, the tumors simply grow slowly into the skin.
