So after waiting for a half hour for the escort service to come, then giving up and walking to my car scared and vigilant, only to realize the doofy kid that approached the building then walked away apparently was the escort. Umm hey, maybe it would be nice if you had something to identify you, or yanno asked the girl standing in the lobby of the empty building if she was the one who called. Our system at UConn is truly flawed.
Then to add insult to injury there are NO spots for me to park in at my apt, so I have to park in the sketchy visitor lot....then yanno I get upstairs and moments later I see multiple police officers coming into my building. WTF is going on!
Thank goodness for Crissy for leaving me pumpkin bread on the counter as if she was awaiting Santa. prob the only good thing about this fucking day

take a self-defense class, get some mace and write a seriously angry letter to someone higher up at uconn and a local and school newspaper. voice the anger lady! ((HUG)).
that's the thing, those things are great but don't help in most cases. we need to put more education out there to PREVENT people from doing such things
